Calculate stay time by dividing the remaining dose allowance by the total dose equivalent rate. Enter the allowable dose, dose already received and field rate. You can use a supplied total rate or enter separate gamma and neutron components, then choose seconds, minutes or hours for the result. You can also calculate dose for a planned duration.
Check the neutron units before combining the rates. An absorbed neutron rate in mrad/hr needs the factor supplied by the problem to convert it to an equivalent rate. A rate already in mrem/hr or mSv/hr must not be weighted again.
